While it might not be "fine dining", this place is really great for Bogo sushi. You get a lot for what you pay for, and there are a lot of options on the menu. There are Thai, Japanese traditional, and sushi entrees. The sushi is what we go for, and our favorites are the Sexy Girl roll and Spider roll.
Servers are nice but not very chatty or overly friendly. It is usually very dark in the restaurant, except near the sushi bar. We never have to worry about a wait, in that the place is big enough and never super busy. It's right in the middle of Brightleaf, so Sugar Koi is nearby for those who want an espresso or sweet treat after their meal. -

We were in the area because we wanted to eat before we did some volunteer work and decided to try this place.
The food was fine. I just wasn't overly excited or disappointed either way. Most folks at the table were happy except the person who got general tso's didn't like their take on it but we'd all suggested she not get it as Thai and Sushi looked to be the specialty so we mocked her more than anything
I had the lemon grass chicken but for me the lunch portion was a little small. I've been to many other laces in the area and am not hungry in a few hours. It tasted great though -

Had a nice meal. Asked for the check. Waited for 45 minutes. When we asked again he told us, "not trying to be rude" and informed us if we spoke with the manager she would have an attitude.

Came here late night, about an hour before closing. It was only a few folks in the restaurant, but I ordered the teriyaki chicken which doesnt state it has mushrooms on the menu, but after about 25 mins of waiting I received my plate with mushrooms. I do not eat mushrooms, she took my plate back and about 10-15 mins later I received my food. The food here is pretty good overall. In addition, I got the imperial roll which is like a chicken spring roll - very good! I would recommend this place, but service is somewhat slow with getting food out timely.

I stopped in on a Wednesday evening for dinner. The restaurant is located in a hot spot in Durham! I didn't know that this place existed until I did some research on Yelp. I am always open to exploring new sushi spots so I gave it a chance. This is also a 5-minute walk from my apartment so I was hoping for the best. Yes, it's BOGO...which is usually a hit or a miss in most places.
The service was great but the sushi was off. There were only a few customers and it took a good 30-minutes to get 2-rolls. I noticed that they only had one sushi chef working. The first few bites were good and then I started to feel a bit sick. The fish was really fishy and didn't taste right. I also chewed on some fish bones. I lost my appetite after this and didn't finish my sushi (I don't usually say this). I like the size of the rolls but not the taste.
Although, I live close by; I'll continue seeking for good sushi in Durham.
